Angular distributions of differential cross sections for elastic and inelastic deuteron scattering from 6Li , 16O , 32S , 50,51V , and 70,72Ge at an incident energy of 171 MeV and from 90Zr and 116Sn at an incident energy of 183 MeV are presented. Phenomenological optical-model parameters for elastic scattering are extracted from the data and compared to existing deuteron-nucleus global optical potentials.
