OBVI: Hierarchical 3D Video-Browsing.
Konferenzveröffentlichung, Bibliographie

Kurzbeschreibung (Abstract)

Broadcast quaIity video consists of some 100000 frames per hour. Browsing through large amounts of digital video, users need to get a quick overview of the material, in search of "intended" content. We present an approach to fast visual perception of video contents; it is based on flexible hierarchical 3D representations which in turn rely on ranked key frames. This approach has led to a commerical product which can be used both for video browsing on the Web and as a visual indexing tool for dedicated video servers.
