Towards Connected Live Event Experiences.
Workshop Exploring and Enhancing the User Experience for TV, in conjunction with CHI '13. Paris, France (27.04.-02.05.2013)
Konferenzveröffentlichung, Bibliographie

Kurzbeschreibung (Abstract)

During live events, such as concerts or sport matches, there are two main groups of people following the event: spectators experiencing the event in the stadium in-situ and people watching broadcasted content remotely. Although both experiences concern the very same event, they are fundamentally different. In this position paper, we propose to bridge the gap existing between these two realms, leading to more socially connected and more joyful shared experiences both in-situ and at home during events. We support the discussion by depicting a set of exemplary interaction concepts and highlight promising open research questions.
