Kurzbeschreibung (Abstract)
Renewable energy sources are gaining more and more importance as a change in energy policy is agreed in Europe. However, a higher focus on renewables calls for new concepts for energy grids. This research is centered on decentralized concepts and its goal is to simulate smart local energy grids based on GIS. In order to gain the required energy data and 3D city models for these purposes, a data exchange format based on CityGML was designed, which is presented in this paper.
