Kurzbeschreibung (Abstract)
Specialized applications for the different engineering disciplines require methods to exchange data between each other. NXOpen offers the opportunity to access part-data via the Java API. The presentation will give an overview about how students at TU Darmstadt are taught to apply programming skills they gained in the first semester to interchange data between MATLAB and NX4 in the second semester CAD class. Basic examples show the usage of selected NXOpen Java commands.
