International Conference on Computing in Civil and Building Engineering (ICCCBE). Taipei, Taiwan (03.04.2002-05.04.2002)
Konferenzveröffentlichung, Bibliographie

Kurzbeschreibung (Abstract)

For the co-operation in computer networks a new system of numerical models to simulate structural problems in civil engineering is presented. By means of the Internet technology CORBA, the programming languages JAVA and C++ and the application of object-oriented methods, the processing of “simulation-objects” in a distributed system was developed and tested. Therewith the previous approaches for distributed processes with numerical models, particularly the application of the finite element method including interactive pre- and post-processes, were advanced to platform-independent communication necessities.
