Kurzbeschreibung (Abstract)
In the coming years, numerous bridges in Germany are reaching the end of their designed service life of over hundred years. However, due to diverse factors, it is crucial to extend their lifespan. Hence, a cost-effective and scalable solution is necessary to monitor and evaluate their condition. Drive-by Monitoring, which employs sensors on the passing vehicle to assess the bridge properties or condition, is one potential approach. Two extensive drive-by measurement campaigns have been carried out by the Institute of Structural Mechanics and Design (ISM+D), resulting in data for over 3000 kilometres of railway and numerous bridge crossings. The objective of this work is to construct and apply a framework for the automated analysis, management, and storage of this data. Attaining a high degree of automation for the application is crucial, which is why an application using various algorithms has been developed.
