Kurzbeschreibung (Abstract)

Implementing energy efficiency measures is a key aspect of the transition of production facilities towards the long-term goal of climate neutrality. To provide a quantitative assessment of electric energy consumption and energy efficiency potentials, it is necessary to measure and analyze the electrical load profile of machines. This requires not only technical equipment such as measuring devices, but also specific competencies in data acquisition and analysis. These can be taught in learning factories in a realistic production environment. Besides practical skills, theoretical knowledge is also crucial and can be taught using hybrid teaching techniques. This article presents a method for designing a competency-based hybrid teaching course applied to the topic of electrical data acquisition and analysis. The method is deployed in the ETA Learning Factory at the Technical University of Darmstadt and is provided to German small and medium-sized enterprises as a training course.
