Kurzbeschreibung (Abstract)

In order to design a highly efficient electrical machine, various crucial design aspects such as mechanical, electromagnetic and thermal properties have to be taken into account simultaneously. Due to the strong interdependence of the design features of a permanent magnet synchronous machine, it is necessary to consider different machine candidates. To achieve this goal during the design process, a time-saving approach is crucial. Therefore, in this paper an automated fast semi-analytical approach is presented. Furthermore, a machine designed with this method for a hybrid electric vehicle with a novel two-drive transmission is presented.
