Kurzbeschreibung (Abstract)
This paper deals with the aspects of loss distribution and magnitude under heavy step-down conditions comparing low load and full load operating points of a DAB converter with fixed and variable inductor. A simulation model concerning the losses in semiconductors and magnetic components is developed and verified by the overall losses using accurate DC measurements. Changes in loss distribution are discussed comparing both inductor variants in the DAB setup.
