Kurzbeschreibung (Abstract)
In this paper we present 3 block cipher algorithms Simon, Speck and KATAN. Each of them gets a short introduction of their func- tions and recommended field of use. We also compare these 3 block ci- phers with each other and with the state of the art algorithm the Ad- vanced Encryption Standard (AES) to see how efficient and fast they are to be able to conclude what algorithm is the best for which specific application.
