Flexible Urban Medium Voltage Networks in the Darmstadt Energy Laboratory for Technology in Application (DELTA).
ETG Kongress 2023. Kassel, Germany (25.-26.05.2023)
Conference or Workshop Item, Bibliographie

Abstract

The Darmstadt Energy Laboratory for Technologies in Application (DELTA) acts as a showcase for the urban energy transition to demonstrate interacting energy-optimised districts. In this project, the main topic is to demonstrate technically proven potentials for increasing the energy efficiency in districts and the flexibility of the urban energy system. Furthermore, it is to be shown that these are economically feasible and socially accepted. The urban energy system is particularly important for the German climate goals. In the subproject “flexible urban medium voltage networks” in the DELTA project corrective methods to facilitate the efficient utilization of the grid and the resources are investigated.
