| Additional Information: | With the help of uniform semiclassical approximations the quantitative connection between classical bifurcation phenomena and the dynamics of an electronic Rydberg wave packet in the presence of an external static magnetic field is discussed with particular emphasis on nongeneric bifurcations of the Edmonds-Garton-Tomkins orbit. |
