Abstract
This paper examines different encryption algorithms, which are specifically used for mobile and embedded systems on the Internet of Things(IoT). For this the Block ciphers TEA and LED will be introduced and examined with regards to their security. Afterwards they will be compared to each other and the advantages and disadvantages presented. The main focus is set on the performance and the security of the algorithms.
