Kurzbeschreibung (Abstract)

In this paper, we propose a new stream potential modeling method called global modeling. This method generates a cubic polynominal representation of a 2D fluid field's potential surface or 3D fluid field's potential volume, based on CFD and the Laplace equation. Evaluation maps in both three and four dimensions are used to display stream potential (SP) surfaces and volumes to enable visualisation of the entire fluid field. Global modeling also allows the generation of accurate velocity interpolations.
