Abstract

With the help of new design tools, manufacturing-integrated solutions can be generated that concurrently consider function and process. Based on the design pattern matrix, solution elements can be developed that realize the product function by systematically utilizing manufacturing-induced properties. The developed manufacturing-integrated product solutions are refined using computer-aided methods (feature-based modeling and information modeling). A product embodiment is generated that is specifically tailored to the chosen manufacturing technology. An integrated information model allows the introduced tools to be used throughout the entire development process. The example of a linear flow split snap-fit fastening illustrates how the tools beneficially interact and realize manufacturing potential, resulting in an innovative product design.

Zur Entwicklung fertigungsintegrierter Produktlösungen werden verschiedene Tools vorgestellt, die den Entwickler bei der Lösungsfindung und deren Ausarbeitung gezielt unterstützen. Mittels der Design Pattern Matrix können Lösungselemente generiert werden, die die gewünschte Produktfunktion durch Nutzung verfahrensinduzierter Eigenschaften realisieren. Fertigungsintegrierte Produktlösungen, basierend auf Design Patterns, werden durch Verwendung rechnergestützter Methoden (Konstruktionsfeatures für CAD-Systeme und Informationsmodellierung), mit Blick auf eine bestimmte Fertigungstechnologie detailliert. Um insbesondere die Durchgängigkeit der genannten Tools zu gewährleisten, wird auf ein integriertes Informationsmodell zurückgegriffen, das die gezielte Verknüpfung und Bereitstellung relevanter Informationen über den kompletten Produktentwicklungsprozess hinweg ermöglicht. Am Beispiel einer profilintegrierten Schnappverbindung, die mittels Spaltprofilieren hergestellt werden soll, wird verdeutlicht, wie die genannten Tools zusammenspielen, um letztlich eine Produktlösung zu erhalten, die die Potenziale des Spaltprofilierens als stellvertretenden Fertigungsprozess bestmöglich realisiert.German
