Incremental bulk forming has been experiencing a renaissance in recent years. This is due to the invention of new processes and semifinished products. In this context, the novel developments in the fields of manufacturing of semifinished products with tailored properties by severe plastic deformation as well as the creation of new product architecture by joining during incremental bulk forming and gaining high flexibility of the machinery by means of the 3D Servo Press are introduced.
