Kurzbeschreibung (Abstract)

This chapter describes recent advances in the synthesis, characterization, and catalytic applications of ordered mesoporous and microporous materials with heteroatoms. The first part of the discussion deals with modifications of ordered mesoporous and microporous materials relevant for applications in catalysis. The second part treats strategies that can produce isolated and highly dispersed catalytic sites. In the final part, examples from gas-phase oxidation catalysis illustrate the current state of research in catalytic applications of ordered mesoporous and microporous materials with heteroatoms.
