Schwab, Frederick and Löber, Jens and Lucas, Martin and Claus, Peter (2011):
Selective Hydrogenation of Benzene to Cyclohexene with Ionic Liquids as Reaction Modifier.
In: 22nd North American Catalysis Society Meeting, Detroit, MI, USA, 05. - 10. Juni 2011, [Conference or Workshop Item]

Abstract

The selective hydrogenation of benzene to cyclohexene is of great industrial interest. It could be an easy and less expensive way to produce value-added products like cyclohexanol, caprolactam. In comparison to the process of Asahi Chemical Co. the use of an ionic liquid is a simplification of the reaction system.
