Abstract

A series of oxide and mixed oxide catalysts of cerium, zirconium and zinc were prepared by oxalate gel precipitation method and tested in the reaction of methanol and CO₂ for direct synthesis of dimethyl carbonate. Influence of pressure, temperature and the influence of water removal were investigated.
