Kurzbeschreibung (Abstract)

The wear of tension members in timing belts results in a change in the pre-tensioning force. Therefore, a sensing timing belt was developed to measure the pre-tensioning force. For this purpose, a sensor system is integrated into a tooth, with which the acceleration is measured and sent to an external receiver via Bluetooth. In this publication, the detectability of the natural frequencies under different operating conditions is investigated. The acquired data is separated into span specific segments, as each trum segment has different natural frequencies. This paper will analyse occurring disturbance factors and evaluate the detectability of the natural frequencies.
